With the integration of GPS systems into a prototype vehicle, the Micro-AV team goes to work to put it to the test. The purpose of this test was to check the drift of replicated autonomous waypoint navigation with an integrated GPS unit as a single guidance tool. The results were promising, showing that with the integration of the installed Intel RealSense D435i, a more precise autonomous experience can be achieved with minimal sensor fusion.
